How I am responding to COVID-19

Given how rapidly the virus is spreading and in consideration to my clients and their families, I suspended my services temporarily several weeks ago. In the course of my employment I spend days in my clients homes working in their bathrooms, kitchens and all over your homes. I understand this is not the best situation for them in normal times, and certainly, no one wants someone in their home all day at this critical time when we need to practice social distancing.
Yes, some of us feel we just can’t live without that beautiful Cole & Son ‘Cow Parsley’ in black and white, but we will survive a while without it!. ~

Joking aside – as we come together to beat this virus, I want to assure everyone that, as soon as the coast is clear, I will be offering my free estimates via email or text message (with your room’s photos) whenever possible. I have always worked very clean and left my work area in the state it was when I arrived. I will be adding Lysol wipes, sanitizer and other germ / virus killing cleaning products to all my jobs.

As businesses return to their normal operations, I will reconsider the situation and let all my loyal customers know, right here, when I will be back at the job I LOVE.

I hope everyone this reaches, has stayed well. To anyone who has gotten sick, may you recover soon! We are all in this together and we WILL beat this.

God’s Blessings,  Michelle

A Master Bath With Timeless Style

Wallcovering has turned this Master Bath into a warm inviting retreat.
This vinyl pattern has a small weave texture and a little bit of gold color that adds an understated elegance! The look is timeless, and will go with anything the homeowners  want to do to this room in the future. Being a vinyl, it is washable and will resist staining.
Unfortunately the texture and gold in the pattern can not be seen in my pictures but none-the-less the room looks stunning!

This was the texture on the walls:

Moire

I recently got to work for a lovely older couple who wanted to change out their aging master bath wallcovering.
After removing the existing paper and border, then preparing the walls, I hung a liner to insure a smooth, fresh surface to hang on.
It has been a while since I’ve hung a Moire and it was a very easy installation.
Although the wall color is darker now, the bright lighting combined with all the other light surfaces, allow the solid color walls to pop.
It looks like a brand new master bath!

A Few Of My Latest Wallpaper Jobs

Please excuse my terrible photography…I am a Wallcovering Installer and Muralist, not a Photographer.

Yes, I know it’s very obvious –  LOL

This first job was re-papered because of a water leak that destroyed part of the existing paper. The homeowner really liked her original choice and she wanted to replace it with the same. Unfortunately it was no longer being made. She was very lucky to find something so similar, if it were not for the different shade I doubt any one would have known.

The room looks fantastic!

I removed the paper on the left and hung the one on the right. She wanted the same paper or very close. It looks like she was lucky :)

My next job was a Baby Girl’s Nursery! It turned out so sweet. I loved this Osborne & Little wallcovering. The homeowner complimented the paper by painting the ceiling and accent wall a soft vintage pink that matched the paper exactly.  The walls were heavily textured. Most of the time was spent getting them perfectly smooth.

I covered her switchplate covers to match the paper. They almost disappear…

Another Powder Bath with a free standing sink. My favorite spot…right after ‘behind the commode’ (…not really folks.)

The red is the before and it does date this bathroom quite a bit. After a total transformation, the homeowner has a richer more traditional and upscale look.

The paper was a nonwoven with a gorgeous gold and light teal print.

I had to get a shot of the perfect job I did around all the pipes. It must be my wallcovering installer’s ego

A great week and ready to start a very large job I will be on for two – three weeks. I may have time to post some pictures while the job is progressing. I am not sure, but definately will post them all after I’m done.. Lots of Cole and Sons papers ~ That is VERY exciting!

Leave me a comment at the bottom if you’d like. I would love to hear what you think. Have questions? Just ask!

See you all soon and have a Beautiful Day!
